The Indian government is contemplating reinstating a ban on cryptocurrencies to support the central bank digital currency (CBDC). The risks associated with cryptocurrencies are deemed to outweigh their advantages, according to reports. The Reserve Bank of India is currently testing the digital rupee CBDC with 5 million users.

Security experts suspect the Lazarus Group of being behind the BingX and Indodax hacks due to a common address being used by exploiters in both cases. Lazarus has been linked to cyberattacks on Asian crypto exchanges this year, including India’s WazirX and Japan’s DMM Bitcoin.

South Korea is facing a significant issue as $13 million in fiat and cryptocurrencies belonging to 33,000 customers of shuttered crypto exchanges remains inaccessible. The nation’s strict regulations have led to the closure of 14 local exchanges, prompting backlash against the Financial Services Commission for its handling of the crypto industry.

This turn-based role-playing game allows players to battle using NFT characters, aligning with the growing trend of blockchain games in the industry.
