Bitcoin dominance expected to decrease in 2025 according to Benjamin Cowen, X Hall of Flame
Benjamin Cowen, the founder of Into The Cryptoverse, is known for his bold crypto predictions. While he admits he can sometimes be wrong, he confidently asserts that Bitcoin dominance will decrease by 2025. Cowen, who is based in the United States, started creating crypto content in 2019 and has gained a following of 889,500 on X.
Despite being extremely bullish on Bitcoin, Cowen believes in maintaining a healthy dose of skepticism. Describing himself as a BTC bull with two panda bears on his shoulders to curb his FOMO, he offers honest market insights to his audience.
Interestingly, Cowen originally studied aerospace engineering and even interned at NASA before pursuing a degree in math and physics. He became interested in crypto around 2013 but initially found Bitcoin too expensive to invest in as a grad student.
After obtaining his PhD and working at a national laboratory, Cowen’s YouTube channel started gaining traction in 2019 when he shifted his focus to Bitcoin and Ethereum content. Despite his initial videos on altcoins receiving little engagement, his channel quickly grew to over 100,000 subscribers within 10 months.
Cowen’s content aims to provide realistic market perspectives and educate new crypto users on potential pitfalls. He values transparency and admits when his predictions are incorrect, preferring to follow influencers who can acknowledge their mistakes.
While Cowen refrains from giving specific price predictions, he believes that Bitcoin dominance will decline in 2025 due to an anticipated shift in US Federal Reserve monetary policy. The transition from quantitative tightening to quantitative easing typically marks a decrease in Bitcoin dominance, according to Cowen’s analysis.
